Sometimes gossips are brought wayyyyyy too far and it causes more damage than anything else, so much so that repair is almost impossible. So we should 'gossip in moderation'. HAHAHAHA. Its bound to happen la. Nothing could ever stop gossips. I guess as long as its contained within a group, its fine. I can so relate to it... But sadly, i am a victim and a perpetrator of gossip. But it's so fun to do it sometimes. Damn i cant believe i said that. On saying that, it usually leave a big impact on an individual's life. I'm not going to say STOP gossiping, what i mean to say is " Gossip, but do so without humiliating another individual because believe it or not, it can scar them for life". Gossip! When taken the wrong way, gossip can turn into a very ugly reality. Over the years, I have witnessed several accounts where reputations have been crushed mercilessly just by word of mouth alone, even when they were obviously fabrications. The effects of gossip can be clearly seen in a drama series that is currently airing - Gossip Girl. It shows the not so pretty side of human nature where one gives out lashings of half-truths and are rather smug about it. All this is done just to see someone they don't like go down.
